Cincinnati Reds to launch caravan Jan. 22

CINCINNATI (AP) — The Cincinnati Reds baseball team will make its annual winter road trip to meet fans in a five-state caravan that begins Jan. 22.

The players, former players, team executives, broadcasters and mascots will head out in four groups from the Reds’ Hall of Fame & Museum.

Its north tour group goes that evening to Columbus, then to Lima, Dayton, and Hamilton. The east tour will be in Athens the evening of Jan. 22, before crossing into West Virginia.

A south tour goes to Louisville then to Nashville, Tennessee, and back through Kentucky, and its west tour will go to Muncie to start an Indiana swing.

The groups reunite Jan. 25 in Cincinnati for a fan event at Great American Ball Park.
