Church bus driver accused of raping disabled woman
GIRDLER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Knox County church bus driver is charged with the rape of a woman who is intellectually disabled and legally blind.
According to Kentucky State Police, 71-year-old Clark Mills picked up the victim at her home in Girdler, drove her to a motel in Bell County, and had sexual intercourse with her.
Police say a family member spotted the woman getting out of Mills’ pickup truck.
The woman told her mother, who is her legal guardian, that she had sex with Mills, according to police.
Detectives say during the interview with Mills, he admitted to having sex with the victim and that he knew she was intellectually disabled.
Mills is charged with rape and sodomy.
