Christian County Deputy hit by reckless driver
CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A Christian County deputy was involved in a car crash late Saturday night.
It happened on the Pennyrile Parkway.
State police say 43-year-old Deputy David King was on the shoulder, looking for a reckless driver he had gotten a complaint about.
35-year-old Robert Lewis hit the back of Deputy King’s cruiser.
Later, troopers say they discovered Lewis was driving the car that had been reported as reckless.
Deputy King was treated and released from the hospital.
Lewis was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
