Christ the King’s Oktoberfest set for late September

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One of the area’s largest fall festivals is planning this year’s festivities.

Christ the King’s Oktoberfest is set for Sept. 24 and Sept. 25. The event will feature musical performances, German fare, beer and wine, a car raffle, kids inflatables, a cake wheel, adult gaming and bingo as well as the Oktoberdash 3K.

This tradition looks to bring together the Christ the King congregation, Chevy Chase neighborhood and greater Lexington community. The proceeds benefit the parish and school by supporting tuition assistance and funding community outreach efforts.

Event organizers will be monitoring COVID-related guidance by the Kentucky Department for Public Health, Catholic Diocese of Lexington and local policy to keep participants safe.

For more information, check the event’s website or Facebook.
