Child hit after cars collide in Lexington intersection
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a child was hit after two cars collided at the intersection of Hedgewood Court and Woodhill Drive.
It happened Monday shortly after 5:30 p.m., according to police.
Investigators say in addition to the child, a parked car on Hedgewood Court was also hit.
The child was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to investigators.
Police say one of the driver’s involved in the crash was gone when officers arrived on the scene.
