Charity ride for Vets rescheduled due to weather

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Third Annual Veteran’s Charity Ride has been rescheduled due to inclement weather this weekend.

According to Kentucky Rolling Thunder Chapter 5, the ride will now take place Saturday, Oct. 24. It will begin at Renegade Classics located at 1315 Winchester Road in Lexington. Organizers say riders are asked to gather starting at 8:30 A.M. Kickstands up at 10 A.M.

Organizers say the 185 mile ride will include four stops and end back at Renegade Classics. Riders will be able to take a 30 minute break at each location.

According to the Facebook event, prizes will be handed out. Registration is $20 for each bike or $30 for a bike and passenger. Kentucky Rolling Thunder Chapter 5 says their goal is to raise $7,500 which will go back to helping local Veteran’s in need.
