LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Mark Stoops said before the Southern Miss game there are always a ton of unknowns entering the season and week one.

In Hattiesburg, the team needed to respond to adversity and do so positively…and it did.

Kentucky showed character and Stoops was pleased with what he saw; answering some of the unknowns exiting the first game heading into the home opener with EKU Saturday at noon.
