Central Bank Center Blood Drive happening downtown
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — The Kentucky Blood Center is hosting a blood drive Thursday in downtown Lexington to help address a seasonal dip in donations and save lives.
The drive will take place at the Central Bank Center on West Vine Street, and will run until 3 p.m.
KBC officials say blood donations typically decrease during the summer, making this event especially important. As a thank-you, everyone who donates will receive a free T-shirt and a $15 Walmart gift card.
Donors will also be entered to win free gas for a year and tickets to upcoming concerts.
