Center Named For Amanda Ross Opens Monday
A new community center will be opened Monday for victims of domestic violence.
The ribbon cutting for "Amanda’s Center" will take place at 2 p.m. at the Fayette county district courthouse.
The center is named for Amanda Ross, who was gunned down in front of her Lexington apartment in 2009 by her ex-fiance, Steve Nunn.
Nunn, a former lawmaker, is serving a life sentence for her murder.
The center will serve as a resource point for domestic violence victims across the community.
