Celebration of life planned for Kentucky teen who died while fishing in Colorado
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A celebration of life ceremony has been announced for Noah Tinch, a Kentucky teenager who tragically died while fly fishing in Colorado — just hours before his 19th birthday.
According to a post from his father on Facebook, Tinch passed away last Thursday while fishing in the Grand Mesa area.
Noah was the son of Angie Cruse-Tinch, CEO of Special Olympics Kentucky. He had recently volunteered at the organization’s state summer games soccer tournament earlier this month.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help continue Noah’s legacy of helping others. As of Monday, the fundraiser had collected nearly $28,000.
The celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, June 21, at the UK Gatton Student Center in Lexington.
