Cause of stockyard fire could be released Thursday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Investigators could release a report on Thursday, documenting the cause of the massive fire at Blue Grass Stockyards in Lexington.

The fire on January 30, burned nearly eight acres of the stockyards site and damaged five other businesses in the area.

More than 120 firefighters responded to the fire.

No one was injured.

The fire damage forced sales scheduled in Lexington to move to stockyards in other cities.
