Junior Willie Cauley-Stein came to UK to prepare himself for the NBA.
To win a national title and go out on top was the dream.
In his first season, that didn’t happen. Just a trip to the NIT and arguably the program’s most embarrassing loss under Cal to Robert Morris in the first round of the tourney.
Last year was a magical run to the Final Four but WCS didn’t get to play.
So this season…he’s back. But it wasn’t that way before he got injured.
