Cats Play Like Studs For Bud

Kentucky senior defensive end Bud Bupree was just a spud the last time the Cats won an SEC game. In fact, it was so long ago, he was still listed as Alvin – his given name – in the team’s media guide back in 2011.

So it’s safe to say Saturday carried extra significance for the senior. 17 games and parts of 3 seasons without a conference win was getting to be too much for Dupree.

The Monday before the game he addressed the team and asked them all to be studs for Bud.
