Cats Make History, Prepare for Quick Turn
Kentucky takes on the Tide tomorrow night at 7 o’clock at Rupp Arena.
It’s a quick turnaround for the Cats. The first one of the season in fact.
They did play those 6 games in 8 days in the Bahamas, plus each guy is only going 20 minutes a night…so it shouldn’t be that tough to push through for the win tomorrow night.
With the win last night over Missouri, UK improved to 20-0…passing the 2009-10 team for sole possession of the third-best start in program history.
It’s the best start under Coach Cal for the Cats, believe it or not.
That ’09-’10 team won 19 straight before falling for the first time.
Kentucky is also now the first SEC team since the 1965-66 Cats to win its first 20 games.
And while the team isn’t focused on being or going undefeated…how cool is it to be making history on a potential run toward perfection?
Hear from assistant coach John Robic on that in the video.
