Catholic Action Center full Christmas Eve

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Catholic Action Center says it usually sees an increase in guests over the holidays, but with the harsh temperatures Christmas Eve, there are more visitors than usual.

Director Ginny Ramsey says all 132 beds were filled up Christmas Eve, but the center’s community voted to continue to help take in as many people as possible to help keep them warm.

Ramsey says over 20 volunteers went out Christmas Eve evening with the Compassionate Caravan to deliver coats, food, and supplies.
