Casey County inmate escaped, Sheriff’s office says she’s still missing

CASEY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Casey County Sheriff’s Office says an inmate escaped earlier this week and is still missing.

According to the local radio station, WKDO, Stacy Diane Scott walked away from the Casey County Detention Center.

A statement the radio station got from the Jail says the 48-year-old walked out of the restricted custody center last week. She is described as a white female, 5’4″ tall & 105 lbs, with brown hair & eyes.

According to WKDO, Scott has ties to Lexington, & Georgetown.

They do not believe she is still in the immediate area, but if anyone has any information, you’re asked to contact the Casey County Sheriff’s Office, KSP, or the Casey Co. Jail.
