Casey County crash kills young mother, sends daughter to hospital

LIBERTY, Ky. (WTVQ)-A crash in Casey County kills a young mother and puts her baby in the hospital.

It happened Saturday evening near the intersection of Highway 127 and West KY 70 in Liberty, according to the Casey County coroner who identified the victim as 21-year-old Amber Sanders.

He says Sanders’ infant daughter was taken to UK Hospital and he’s unsure of her condition. Funeral arrangements for Sanders are pending.
