CASA, POW-MIA among state’s newest license plates

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Three new license plates soon will join the options for Kentucky vehicle owners.

A well-known military group (20210319 KY LP POWMIA Plate v1_0 (1)), a volunteer agency that advocates for abused and neglected (20210518 KY LP CASA Mockup) children and a new group that works for congenital heart disease awareness were approved this week by the state’s Specialty License Plate Committee.

The plates are for CASA, which is the Court-appointed Special Advocate program, the POW-MIA program, and Kerrington’s Heart, the heart disease group.

The plates are expected to be available sometime during late 2022.
