Caregiver Accused Of Stealing Handicapped Man’s Identity

Frankfort Police said certified nurse assistant, Joshua Baxter, 33, stole the identities of a handicapped man he cared for as well as four co-workers.

Investigators said in November 2013, Baxter opened a credit card with a co-worker’s identity and spent about $500 in Frankfort and Georgetown.

Police said they learned what had happened in January 2014.

Investigators said Baxter was arrested and charged with five counts of identity theft and five counts of being a persistent felony offender.
