Car show held to raise money for Toys for Tots

MOUNT STERLING, Ky. (WTVQ) – Visitors gathered in the Mount Sterling community today for the year’s second ‘Cruising for a Cause’ car show.

Held at Advanced Auto Parts’,  the show featured over 30 vehicles and several different competitions between different makes and models.

Manager James King says the event is held for a special cause.

“We’re just out here having a nice little show today, man. Cruising for a Cause partnered with us, a charity that donates to different, different other organizations to kinda help out. Right now we’re raising money for toys for tots. We’re grateful to have them ask us to host” said King.

King said that several hundred attendees were expected at the show.
