Car Drives Into Lexington Church Building

No one was injured Wednesday afternoon when a driver ran into the Elkhorn Baptist Association, according to deputies.

They said an elderly driver got the gas pedal confused with the brake pedal when she hit the building full of people. Deputies said no one was hurt when the driver crashed into a stock room that didn’t have any people inside.

The Elkhorn Baptist Association is located at 1161 Red Mile Road. Deputies said the driver was checked out by firefighters at the scene but was okay.
