Captured fugitive due in court today

GEORGETOWN, Ky. — Nathan Ginter, a fugitive from South Carolina, is scheduled to appear in Scott County Court today at 1 p.m. on charges of forgery and illegal gun possession. This follows his recent arrest in Central Kentucky.

Ginter was apprehended early Saturday morning in Georgetown, along with his alleged accomplice, Riley Pearson, after a week-long manhunt. Deputies discovered Ginter in possession of two handguns, two rifles, sixteen fake ID cards, and more than $60,000 in cash at the time of his arrest.

U.S. Marshals had been searching for Ginter after he failed to appear for his trial, where he was found guilty of torturing his 3-year-old child with a taser and waterboarding.
