Rain washing away hard work in Sparta

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky Speedway just can’t seem to catch a consistent break when it comes time for race weekend every year in Sparta.

The rain once again hit the track today, washing out qualifying, and washing out a lot of the work the track staff and Goodyear put into widening the groove on the new pavement.

Just how much does the rain, and less time on the track, impact the drivers?

Hear from Brad Keselowski in the video.
