Candidates for Governor share education plans with educators
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two major party candidates for Governor talked education on Tuesday.
Democrat Attorney General Jack Conway and Republican Candidate Matt Bevin are the two-front runners.
They shared their education plans with higher education leaders during the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education conference.
Conway believes in early childhood education, being innovative and doing more with less to prepare kids for the workforce.
Bevin says he can offer a fresh perspective and wants equal educational opportunities for everyone.

Election Day is November 3rd. The deadline to register to vote is Monday.
