Campbellsville company featured in “Made-in-America” week at White House

WASHINGTON, DC (WTVQ) – A Campbellsville-based company represented Kentucky at the White House on Monday as part of “Made-in-America” week.

The Trump Administration is celebrating American manufacturing by honoring 50 companies, one from each state, to highlight American made products.

Chris Reynolds and George Wise of the Campbellsville Apparel Company had the company’s products on display in the East Room of the White House.

President Trump says he also wanted to honor all American workers who he says, for too long have been forgotten by the government.

“You construct and harvest the products that fill our homes, feed our families, and defend our nation, and enrich our lives. I want to make a pledge to each one of you: No longer are we going to allow other countries to break the rules, steal our jobs and drain our wealth—and it has been drained,” said President Trump.

Later this week, the President will meet with a group of businessmen and women to discuss how the federal government can continue to negotiate on behalf of the American worker and continue to negotiate trade deals that will benefit all.
