At about noon Saturday, crews from the Brindle Ridge Volunteer Fire Department responded to an ATV accident on Lambert Road where the ATV had struck a tree.
Crews helped remove a man from the wrecked ATV and then set up  landing zone for a medical helicopter to airlift the victim to a hospital, according to the fire department’s social media post.
Crews had to set up another landing zone later that day at Roundstone Elementary School for a medical emergency.

Road. Crews used approximately 750 gallons of water and five gallons of AFFF Firefighting Foam, to put out the blaze, the department said.

Early Wednesday, the Mt. Vernon Fire Department responded to a house fire on Club View Drive and got help from both Brindle Ridge and Brodhead crews. The teams spent more than four hours fighting the blaze and putting out hotspots.
A motorcycle and side-by-side were saved from the garage, but the structure received heavy damage, according to the Mt. Vernon Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. No injuries occurred.
