Burnside man drowns in Lake Cumberland

PULASKI CO., Ky. (WTVQ) – The Pulaski County Coroner has identified a man that drowned while swimming at Lake Cumberland.

According to the coroner, the victim is 47-year-old Homer Davis, Jr., of Burnside, Kentucky.

The coroner says Davis was at the Keno boat ramp on Lake Cumberland, swimming with family and friends, when he went under and never resurfaced.

Davis was pronounced dead at 2:45 a.m. Monday morning.
