Burglary suspects found by K-9 unit in crawl space

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office with Lexington Police K9 Units arrested two suspects after a burglary on Ethel Drive in Tate’s Creek Estates.

Deputies say the burglary took place Thursday morning. 30-year-old William Cunliffe of Nicholasville was arrested at a residence that was near the home that was burglarized.

Deputies say 29-year-old John Whisman of Nicholasville was captured by K9 Unit of Lexington police in the crawl space of the same residence where Cunliffe was arrested.

Officials say a 22 pistol was taken in the burglary. Both suspects were taken to the Jessamine County Detention.
