Burger King in Lawrenceburg temporarily closed following fire
LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Burger King restaurant will remain closed following a fire over the weekend.
Lawrenceburg Fire and Rescue says firefighters were called to the restaurant Sunday night.
The firefighters knocked the fire down quickly.
According to the Anderson News, the fire started in the restaurant’s exhaust system.
The restaurant was contaminated by chemicals from the fire suppression system and will remain closed until it can be sanitized and passes a health inspection, according to the newspaper.
