Bullets hit Lexington home, man charged

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police said he was shooting at someone else but instead, ended up hitting a Lexington home with people inside.

Police arrested 25-year-old Joseph Shearer and charged him with wanton endangerment for the June 14th shooting in the 700-block of Howard Street.

Court documents said two people were in a living room when they heard shots fired outside then a bullet hit the ceiling.

Three more bullets hit the home.

Documents said Shearer was in a car and firing at people in another car when the home was hit.
