Bullets fired in one apartment rip through others

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – People living in a Lexington apartment complex are being described as “lucky” after shots were fired early Tuesday morning.

Someone called police to say a bullet went through their apartment just after 2:30 a.m. at the Prall Place Apartments on Winnie Street

When police arrived, they discovered two shots were fired from inside one apartment and those bullets traveled through several apartments.

No one was hurt, something police say was surprising since the bullets did go through multiple apartments, missing at least ten people.

Police say they are talking to the people who live in the apartment where the shots came from but that the person who fired the gun was not there.
