Building catches fire after car crashes into it in Mt. Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Mount Vernon Police say a fire broke out at the the old Peg’s Food Mart on US 25 after a car lost control on ice and hit the building.

Police say the building was vacant and the driver of the car was not injured.
