Buh’s promotion

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The media got the chance to meet UK’s new defensive backs coach this morning.

More on that to come.  Right now, we have to address the bigger story today…Mark Stoops announcing Andy Buh as the special teams coordinator.

Solid Blue fans complained a lot last season about the team not having one guy in charge of the unit.

Buh handled kickoff and punt duties while former wide receivers coach Tommy Mainord and now co-defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley handled the return duties.

It wasn’t supposed to be on the agenda for today, but when coach Stoops shows up, you pry things out of him.
