Briscoe’s Progress

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Think about where Isaiah Briscoe was a season ago.  He’s come a long way in a short amount of time to define and refine his game.

Coach Cal is proud of his sophomore guard.  Cal’s proud of what Briscoe accomplished by going through the NBA Draft process, working out for teams, and learning what he needed to learn.

A big lesson learned?  Shooting.  As we’ve mentioned now several times, Briscoe was a bad shooter…and especially bad from the free throw line…which did not please Cal.

Now, that’s all changed, after a “come to Cal” moment.
