Briscoe & Cal

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Isaiah Briscoe is owning his own game.  He’s spending time in the gym to get better.

Briscoe’s often at the Joe Craft Center early and stays late alongside Derek Willis and Bam.

Briscoe wasn’t Cal’s guy last season.  Tyler Ulis was the floor general.

Now, the sophomore guard knows what to expect from Cal…and knows coach wants the best for all of his players…so their relationship on and off the floor is better.

They’re closer.

Just the other day, Cal took a phone call that reminded him just how much Briscoe has grown, and how much he loves his star guard.
