Briscoe Big on Freshmen

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – It was a big night for Malik Monk Tuesday.  The freshman scored a game-high 23 points and snagged a team-high 6 rebounds.

De’Aaron Fox played well.  Wenyen Gabriel, Bam Adebayo and Sacha Killeya-Jones all got in on the action in the win over Michigan State.

A Champions Classic win usually means good things for the Cats.  It shows the freshmen are bonded and ready to grow and learn.

A 21-point win over a solid Spartans bunch bodes even better.
