Remains identified as missing Breathitt County woman

BREATHITT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police confirm that human remains found in a remote area of Lee County Saturday night belong to a missing Breathitt County woman.

Investigators say 29-year old Mary Jo Allen, of Breathitt County, was last seen at a home on KY 2016 in Lee County on August 10, 2017.

KSP says right now the case is being called a death investigation.
