BREATH OF HOPE KENTUCKY (Lung Cancer Awareness Month)

I was diagnosed with lung cancer less than a year ago and I am a non-smoker.  I have since come to realize that most people diagnosed with lung cancer do not find out they have it until it is stage 4 and the disease has spread.  I represent and extremely small population who was diagnosed in stage 1 where the survival rates increase drastically.  After recovering from surgery to remove 2 lobes of my right lung I knew I had to do something positive with my second chance so I began researching and spreading awareness ever since.  Especially after learning that deaths from lung cancer among younger women non-smokers is on the rise.
