BREAKING: Maximum Security will not run in Preakness

LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) – Gary West, the owner of Maximum Security, just announced on the Today Show Maximum Security will not run in the Preakness.

Maximum Security was disqualified on Saturday at the Kentucky Derby.

Race stewards ruled he interfered on the corner of the final turn of the race.

Country House finished second, but with the disqualification was ruled the winner.

There has been no word from Country House’s connection on whether or not he will run in the Preakness.
