UPDATE: Report of active shooter at hospital in Morehead false

Morhead Police report the scene is all clear and there was no shooter at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

The lockdown at the hospital has been lifted.

MOREHEAD, Ky. (WTVQ) – A hospital in Morehead went on lockdown Thursday morning following a report of a possible shooter.

According to the Morehead Police Department, there is not an active shooter at St. Claire Regional Medical Center but officers are currently searching the building for a suspect.

The hospital remains on lockdown while police investigate.
