UPDATE: Woman found dead in home by neighbor

UPDATE (8/02/2018 7:37 P.M.)

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ)- Georgetown Police are still at the scene where they say a woman was found dead in her home on Markham Drive by her neighbor.

Police say they have arrested and are questioning a man who also lived in the house. The man is a suspect and was found in the house when police got there. Police are unsure of the relationship between the man and the woman.

Police say no one else is in danger. They are not looking for any more suspects.

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are investigating a death in Georgetown.

Georgetown Police say they were called to a home on Markum Drive around 4:14 p.m. Thursday.

Police are not releasing details on the investigation.
