ORIGINAL STORY:
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – ABC36 is on the scene of a large police presence at the intersection of Winburn Drive and Gerald Drive in the Winburn area.
According to our crew at the scene, there were several evidence markers laid out in three different locations on Winburn.
There was also police tape at a nearby supermarket, which police just removed. They are remaining at the other two locations, investigating what appears to be a shooting.
We also saw police collecting more evidence in the parking lot of the Community Action Council Winburn Center.
It’s not clear yet if there are any victims with injuries from the shooting.
Our crew did see, and photographed a car with bullet holes in windows on both sides of a car in front of the supermarket.
This is a developing story, which we will continue to update as we learn new information from police.
