DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – He thought he was just doing homework, but one student got a pleasant surprise in Boyle County.
Boyle County Schools say a sixth-grade class was assigned to write a paper on any topic, and one student chose Kentucky Fried Chicken founder Colonel Harland Sanders as his subject.
As a thank you, the school says the restaurant chain sent him a basket full of KFC goodies.
