Boyle County man arrested for allegedly killing cats with a BB gun
BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A Boyle County man has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing cats with a BB gun. According to an arrest citation, Jeffrey Hall was taken into custody on Sunday.
Hall reportedly texted his girlfriend, admitting that he had been shooting stray cats and disposing of their bodies by dumping them over a fence. Following this information, deputies arrived at Hall’s residence in the 900-block of Worldstown Road.
When they got there, deputies discovered dry blood stains on the front porch. Hall allegedly confessed to shooting a kitten with a BB gun. Further investigation led deputies to find two dead cats around his home.
Jeffrey Hall has been charged with the unlawful shooting and killing of at least two cats with a BB gun. He is currently being held in the Boyle County Detention Center.
