Boyle Co. dominates 4a state title game, 34-0

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The Rebels are state champions, again.

Boyle County shutout Franklin County 34-0 on Friday night, marking their fifth state title in six years and 13th in program history.

The MVP of Friday night’s game was do-it-all senior Seneca Driver. Driver finished the game with three touchdowns, two rushing and one receiving. He also added one sack and two tackles for loss.

The Rebels kept their foot on the gas the whole game, totaling 327 yards of offense. Boyle County’s defense dominated as well, holding the Flyers to just eight rushing yards and 92 total yards of offense. Franklin County did not convert a third down all game.
