Bottles thrown at officers at Keeneland

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- It was the perfect day Saturday to enjoy some horse racing at Keeneland, but some people abused it, according to police.

Officers say they made at least five arrests there Saturday afternoon near the tailgating area.

At first, police were arresting one person for underage drinking.

Officers say a large crowd didn’t like that and started throwing bottles at them.

The other people arrested face a variety of charges such as disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
