Boil Water Advisory for parts of Lincoln County

MCKINNEY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Boil Water Advisory was issued Wednesday night for about 400 customers of the McKinney Water District in Lincoln County due to a water main break.  The advisory was issued at 9:00 p.m.

The advisory affects customers who live on Highway 698, beginning at the railroad crossing going south, to the intersection of Highway 198 and beginning at Short Pike Road south to the intersection with Highway 698.  It also includes customers along South Fork Road, Toombs Hollow, Happy Hollow, Sims Road, Moccasin Road and all roads leading off the previously mentioned roads, according to the McKinney Water District.

Affected customers should boil all water to be used for cooking and drinking for at least three minutes until further notice.
