ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Boil Water Advisory issued in Rockcastle County on Tuesday in the Sand Hill area has been lifted. It is now safe to drink tap water without boiling it.

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Boil Water Advisory has been issued in Rockcastle County for Kentucky American Water customers in the Sand Hill area.
The advisory was issued as a precaution due to scheduled maintenance activity of a water tank in the area to further improve water delivery.
During a boil water advisory, it is recommended that customers boil for three minutes any tap water they intend to use for consumption, such as for drinking, cooking or making ice.
