UPDATE: Boil water advisory lifted in Lincoln Co.

A boil water advisory issued for customers of McKinney Water District who live in the Rowland Area, has been lifted.

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Officials say a boil water advisory has been issued for customers of the McKinney Water District.

The advisory is for people who live in the Rowland Area.

Officials say this was issued after a water main break.

It is recommended that you boil any water used for eating, drinking, ice, etc. for at least three minutes before consuming.
