Boil water advisory issued in Beattyville

BEATTYVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Beattyville Waterworks has issued a boil water advisory that affects around 80 customers in certain areas.

The areas affected are Hwy 11 South, 957 and all of Proctor, including side roads.

The water company says the advisory was issued after a line break in the Proctor area.

It is recommended that you boil water used for drinking or consuming for at least three minutes before using.
